Casper
Introduction
Casper is a new Turing-complete smart-contracting platform, backed by a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm and built using WebAssembly (Wasm). The network is a permissionless, decentralized, public blockchain.
The Casper Developer Portal is built by builders for builders. The aim is to provide developers with everything they need to start building on Casper, and grow the Casper ecosystem in an open and sustainable manner. This developer portal was launched at the end of March 2023 and is the first step towards a best-in-class portal for blockchain developers.

The Casper Developer Portal fosters a thriving and supportive community by providing several resources, such as the developer blog (Dev Blog), the Casper Grants program, developer events for opportunities to meet up, and community guidelines for developers to use the portal respectfully and productively with one another.
Casper’s Developer Portal welcomes new members by directing them to the Casper Discord community, the GitHub page, and Twitter and Telegram communities, so that they can make further connections and share knowledge.
Additionally, Casper launched a DevRewards program where developers can submit proposals for improvements to the ecosystem. Once these proposals are reviewed and approved, Casper offers a reward for the completion of work.
There is also a transparent roadmap to share upcoming changes or anything under review based on user feedback. Users can even submit feedback directly through the portal. For example, there was feedback requesting a light-mode option for the portal and docs. The Casper team has taken this feedback as an opportunity to improve and this change is currently being implemented and is set to release in July.
