As concordance, speed, flexibility, and customization continue to be driving forces behind the financial industry's digital transformation, FactSet’s Developer Portal, a library of RESTful APIs for clients to request and return FactSet content and application-derived data on the fly, helps our clients enrich their proprietary applications and digital portals. Backed by our redundant data centers and proprietary technology, the Portal also helps our clients streamline common processes by providing reliable programmatic access to harmonized content, analytics, research, and risk modeling.
The Developer Portal offers a variety of APIs to help create bespoke user experiences and solutions, such as dashboards, client portals, and integration into BI tools, while simultaneously increasing productivity and reducing manual distribution costs. It provides descriptive information about each API along with detailed guides, change logs, and code snippets in C#, Java, Python, and R.
The categories of APIs available are:
