The Mercedes-Benz /developers team is committed to providing a world-class developer portal that provides everything our developers, business users and API providers need. The portal conveys a clear and reduced state-of-the-art design language. This draws users' attention to the most important thing: our products.
With just a few clicks, the user can find relevant products for his/her use case and try out the majority of the APIs immediately. The portal's self-service process has been made as simple as possible to enable direct access to our products. For almost all products, the user can choose from several business pricing models, free versions and sandbox options.
Our most recent improvements are:
• Improved developer dashboard that allows users to manage their projects, request and delete product subscriptions, access analytics data, and manage credentials
• Self service for content management: With the latest changes in the portal, our API product managers/editors are able to maintain their API descriptions, access rights and API documentation independently and without the help of the portal team. For this purpose, the portal provides a CMS that ensures consistency across the entire product portfolio, as well as a content management API for automating the publishing process.
