Introduction of the Portal
Yolt Technology Services is an Open Banking platform that builds, manages and maintains Account Information Services and Account to Account payment connections for financial institutions and ambitious tech businesses. YTS has a wide coverage of connections across Europe, including UK, Benelux, Italy, France and Spain and enables businesses to minimise running costs, reduce risk and build detailed profiles of customers in order to develop products and services that better suit their needs.
The YTS Developer Portal is the all-inclusive area for both developers and clients to test the functionality of the YTS API. Through this free portal, there is access to the API Sandbox allowing users to sign-up and self-manage their connections, meaning they can trial the technology and replicate API calls in a testing environment.
The API is supported with full and detailed documentation including example scenarios and tutorials-ensuring that it is simple and easy to use. How-to guides can also be found on the YTS Developer Portal for a clear process to any queries around the API, the developer portal also features a link to a help desk which has the ability to self-manage the connection to the YTS Sandbox environment.

Due to the nature of our business and the strict security requirements and regulation that is in place to keep data secure, we can’t provide out-of-the-box API management solutions. With our Developer Portal, we bridged the gap between security and usability, allowing a full self-service setup and configuration without compromising on our security standards. Our Developer Sandbox enables users to simulate error scenarios or non-responsive APIS, as well as reducing cost and risk of testing within a live environment.
Enabling users to test and build functionality within our Sandbox API, enables a smooth transition to production for our users once they are ready to go live with YTS and significantly reduces-time-to market.
We periodically review our Sandbox user data to examine errors which occur frequently and inform us on common issues to continuously improve the user experience.
