Shell Developer Portal gives developers globally the power to innovate through Shell APIs. Creating industry leading developer experiences, help automating processes, allowing partners to see the data when they need it and building new propositions to their customers. The energy industry today is dynamic, fast-changing and shell is offering a wide range of APIs to build digital transformations of the future. Shell is ensuring that businesses can deal with the digitalization challenges that arise through offering varied services such as integrating Shell Fleet Card data into proprietary apps, controlling cards and spending to protect risk. Offering Digital payments through Shell SmartPay, Card Management, E-mobility services and Loyalty APIs, meaning that partners can integrate real time data services to enhance their business. Shell now has over 150 partners onboarded to APIs meaning they are able to become more efficient adaptable solutions for the long term.

Shell has integrated with some industry leading partners in the energy space, top OEMs and last mile delivery services, they have been able to digitize in complex varied industries onboarding with ease through the Developer portal. Implementing services using Quick Start guides, OAS specifications, FAQs and contact center to provide end to end support through the onboarding process.



Shell has been investing in the developer experience over the past 18 months, developing Quick Start guides, OAS testing, Postman scripts, API Status and FAQs. Plus delivering a breadth of services from Digital Payments, E-Mobility services, Card Management, Tolls, Location services and Lubricants to ensure that Shell is easy to business with and can cater for a wide range of use cases to digitize for the future.

Meaning there is no more issues with differing versioning of specifications, no sending out of PDF documents and removal of future confusion as latest version is always online.
