Best Findability of Products in a Devportal
• The Singapore Government Developer Portal’s All Products page provides users with a single overview of almost 100 products across the government. This allows users to identify relevant products quickly and effectively. The findability of products in the portal is also enhanced by its search function which allows users to utilise filters to fine tune their search results and sieve out irrelevant content.
The drafting of content based on SEO best practices has also improved the findability of product pages via search engines.
Best International & Localized Devportal
• The Singapore Government Developer Portal was launched by the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore to support GovTech’s role in spearheading digital transformation across the Whole-of-Government (WOG). Byhosting almost 100 products from approximately 10 different government agencies, local and international governments can leverage this information to drive their digital transformation needs. This is important for achieving Singapore’s Smart Nation vision and improving government services for citizens internationally. Partners of government agencies can also ride on the information in the developer portal to improve their understanding of government digital services. This will improve public-private collaborations and the co-creation of government services.
Content relevant to international governments in the developer portal include Singapore’s HealthCerts, National Digital Identity (NDI), API Exchange (APEX), Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC), Singapore Financial Data Exchange (SGFinDex). The Singapore government’s best practices and guidelines for digital transformation projects in areas such as InnerSourcing, DSS for inclusion and accessibility, our Instruction Manual for ICT&SS Management, and tech procurement practices can also be found in the developer portal.
For local audiences, products that can be integrated into government digital services can be found. This includes the Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS), LifeSG, GoBusiness, Device Management, Control and Data Acquisition Systems (DECADA) IoT Tech Stack, Smart Nation Sensor Platform (SNSP) and more!
Videos from GovTech’s STACK events are also uploaded in the Singapore Government Developer Portal to provide international and local audiences with learnings from across the government. Additionally, details for upcoming events such as STACK conferences and STACK-X Meetups are included under our “communities” tab to encourage community development and knowledge sharing amongst government officers, vendors, and the tech community at large.
