The BlueSnap Developer Hub provides comprehensive documentation so developers can integrate BlueSnap's global payment network into their websites. Our APIs provide merchants and partners a collection of endpoints so they can securely collect payments, create custom reports, and leverage our payment tools.
NOMINATION RATIONALE
1) BEST (API) PRODUCT MICROPORTAL INSIDE A DEVELOPER PORTAL
The Embedded Payments section of our Developer Hub highlights our embedded partner solutions, BlueSnap Dash™ and BlueSnap Relay™. Our partners can embed our payment solutions into their websites and quickly onboard merchants with our APIs to facilitate payment processing from within their own site.
These solutions have a distinct audience and endpoint collection, so we document them in their own section that is accessible from the main heading navigation.
Embedded Payments addresses a fast-growing part of our business. This documentation helps our API program by empowering our partners to integrate with our payment processing tools however they need to accomplish their business goals.
2) BEST SOLUTION PORTAL
The Payment API describes our API for processing payments through BlueSnap. We provide guides and endpoint descriptions for all products and services that a merchant can use to integrate BlueSnap into their websites. This targets both software and business developers—the guides explain the business case and implementation guidance for the solution, while the endpoint documents provide implementation details.
Merchants browse the documentation by payment type (cards, ACH, etc.) or use case (vaulted shopper, subscription, etc.) so they can quickly find documentation applicable to their integration.
We provide examples for all endpoints, including a feature that lets the merchant call our API directly from our documentation and receive a response in real time. Each endpoint includes examples that a novice developer can copy and paste into their terminal to make requests.
Our portal links to other areas of our documentation, including our Support guides, Reporting API, and Tools documentation so developers are fully aware of how our solutions can help them accomplish their business goals
3) BEST UNIFIED ENTERPRISE DEVELOPER PORTAL
The BlueSnap Developer Hub provides all the information that a developer of any experience level needs to intergrate with any BlueSnap solution. We have the Basics section, which describes how to get API credentials and provides overview material on critical payments topics. The Payment API describes the RESTful endpoints that merchants can use to process payments and includes implementation guides so they can optimize our solutions. Embedded Payments focuses on partners that want to offer payments as one of their solutions. The Reporting API gives access to powerful reporting capabilities. Our Tools section describes additional solutions that help streamline payment workflows. These sections combine to expose a comprehensive payments portfolio that is presented in a uniform documentation experience.
