The MKK API Portal, launched on January 13, 2025, provides a centralized and secure access point to the API services of Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu (MKK), Türkiye’s central securities depository and a key financial market infrastructure institution. The portal brings together APIs across four key MKK business areas — the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Crowdfunding System (KFS), Crypto Asset Central Registry System (KVMKS), and Central Demateralized System (MKS) — under a single platform. It currently provides technical documentation for 113 API services, serves more than 2,000 users, and handles an average of 1.5 million API calls per month.

Designed for financial institutions, software and solution developers, technology companies, programmers, academics, and other stakeholders across the capital markets ecosystem, the portal enables users to discover, understand, test, and integrate MKK APIs through a single platform.

The portal provides a self-service developer experience. After creating an account and completing the required approval processes, users can create an application, obtain API keys, subscribe to relevant API products, access technical documentation, and test their integrations through an MKK-provided sandbox environment before moving to production.

The API documentation includes guidance on authentication and API key management, integration steps, technical specifications, and, where applicable, sample requests and responses.
