It handles everything from initial shopping to post-booking and check-in. We provide open, modular tools that simplify complex travel integrations. We serve both agency and airline customers as well as suppliers and thrid parties working on behalf of our customers. The hub supports everyone from large enterprises processing high volumes to startups creating new AI travel assistants. We offer structured product collections, interactive sandboxes, production-ready SDKs, and machine-readable guides. By removing traditional travel complexity, the portal helps developers build quickly and easily right out of the box. ## NOMINATION RATIONALE ### 1) BEST REIMAGINED ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE IN A DEVELOPER PORTAL **Why is this category a strong match?** Travel API onboarding can be difficult if you are not within that world. Developers historically needed to understand Pseudo City Codes (PCCs), session management, fare caching, and ticketing rules just to get started. The Developer Hub changes this by moving away from static documents and manual support queues. We now take a developer from zero to a working prototype in a single afternoon. Using our Developer Hub MCP Server we believe we have tackled part of this challenge whilst continuing to enahnce our portal with additional skills and information that can be used in conjunction with our MCP server, see our LCC Training guide as a reference. **In what ways does your portal shine in this category?** Our onboarding experience excels because of a few structural changes: - **Instant Access:** Developers get test credentials and sandbox access the moment they sign in, allowing them to test live endpoints without waiting for contract approvals. - **AI Agent Integration:** We built an onboarding track specifically for AI. We provide an skill Markdown files, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration so tools like Cursor or Claude can learn and execute our workflows autonomously. ### 2) BEST UNIFIED OR FEDERATED ENTERPRISE DEVELOPER PORTAL **Why is this category a strong match?** The Sabre Developer Hub takes a highly complex, multi-generational backend architecture and presents it as a single, unified storefront. Sabre's infrastructure spans legacy mainframe environments and modern cloud microservices managed by dozens of different internal teams. In addition we have APIs that serve different use cases with our Sabre Mosaic Marketplace and Sabre Mosaic Airline Technology For the external developer, we try and give them a specific path based on their are of interest and the customization options including subscribing to updates of specific APIs. We successfully federate hundreds of distinct services into one cohesive platform where developers can find, test, and integrate travel tools without needing to understand our internal structure. **In what ways does your portal shine in this category?** The portal excels at making a fragmented backend look and feel like a single product: - **Unified API Catalog:** We present over 500 REST and SOAP APIs side-by-side. Regardless of the underlying technology, every API adheres to the same documentation templates, styling, and design standards. - **Centralized Authentication:** Developers use one account and one dashboard to generate credentials. Behind the scenes, the portal federates these requests across different authorization servers and legacy systems so the user only ever has to manage a single set of keys. - **Consistent User Experience:** Even though different Sabre business units own different APIs (e.g., airline IT vs. marketplace), the UI, search functionality, and filtering remain uniform across the entire portal. It features its own navigation, testing tools, tutorials, and guides. This setup isolates the initial learning steps from broader enterprise functions, helping developers make their first API call faster. **In what ways does your portal shine in this category?** - **Structured Navigation:** The onboarding process is split into Quickstart, Authentication, Air Search, Hotel Search, and Move to Production. This gives developers a clear, logical path to follow. - **Interactive Sandbox:** They use test credentials from their dashboard to instantly see real JSON responses, HTTP headers, and error codes. - **Human and AI Support:** The microportal includes traditional guides alongside machine-readable markdown files (authentication-skills.md, air-search-skills.md, hotel-search-skills.md) built specifically for AI tools and large language models (LLMs) - **Workflow Context:** It groups essential REST endpoints with interactive training modules and NDC guides to create a complete starter toolkit. 2026
