NOMINEE OVERVIEW

The Signeasy Developer Portal is the home of the Signeasy eSignature API. It helps product teams add e-signing to their own apps, whether that's embedded signing in an iframe, embedded sending, reusable templates, merge fields that pre-fill documents, or webhooks that report every status change.

Developers start in a free sandbox, with an interactive quickstart, build against the real endpoints, and create a live app when they're ready to ship. Guides follow the order a developer actually needs things. The API reference itself is interactive too.

The portal has a quickstart that gets a developer to their first call in under a minute. It also has dedicated sandbox and live environments with its own clients, powered with logging both API requests and webhooks for troubleshooting efficiently.

NOMINATION RATIONALE

1) BEST REIMAGINED ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE IN A DEVELOPER PORTAL

Why is this category a strong match?

We wanted the first successful call to happen before anyone has to talk to sales or watch a trial clock run down. So we replaced the trial period with a free sandbox. A developer signs up, and they get to make a live API call within seconds. And then they can create a sandbox app, generates an access token from the dashboard, and quickly play around with our API. When they're ready, they create a live app on a paid plan and swap the sandbox token for a live one.

In what ways does your portal shine in this category?

  • Sandbox first. Sandbox and live apps sit in separate tabs of the same dashboard, so the path from testing to production is visible from the first login.
  • One call to confidence, right after onboarding.
  • API request logs and webhook logs for quick troubleshooting.
